2027-2032 Transportation Improvement Program Update

The Kent Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the anticipated work program for capital transportation projects. Updated annually, this is a summary of proposed additions to the TIP. Projects come from the City's comprehensive plan and long range Transportation Master Plan (TMP).

The TIP lists projects anticipated to begin preliminary engineering, right-of-way acquisition, or construction within six years. The TIP includes ongoing citywide transportation plans and programs, and provides a menu for grant pursuits by the City. The majority of TIP projects in Kent are funded through partnerships or by competitive grant awards.
