96 Ave S Parking Code Update

Dear Resident,

The City of Kent, in coordination with Kent Police Department, has evaluated parking on 96 Ave S (S 248 St to the north end of the road) and found that parking restrictions are needed on one side.

Parking restrictions are being proposed on the west side of 96 Ave S from S 248 St to 140 feet south of S 246 Pl. No parking will be allowed on the east side of 96 Ave S from 140 feet south of S 246 Pl to the north end of the road. Restricting parking in Kent requires a change to the City Code. We anticipate making the proposal to City Council in December.

We realize these proposed restrictions will create an additional burden on neighborhood parking, so we want to hear your feedback on this important issue.
