2025 Human Services Strategic Plan Update

The City of Kent Human Services Division is updating the Strategic Plan for 2025-2029. The Plan is updated every 5 years and provides a roadmap that identifies the city’s strategic human services priorities over the next five years.

Plan Purpose

The Human Services Strategic Plan, and the work that will be done under its guiding principles, strategic priorities, and goals, are an integral component in moving the City towards achieving its mission of building a safe, thriving, sustainable, and inclusive community.

The Human Services Strategic Plan provides a roadmap that identifies the city’s strategic human services priorities over the next five years. This Plan recognizes that no one organization, program or service can meet the needs of the community. The Plan identifies Human Services role and the how we can work together with other City departments, non-profits, the faith community, businesses, and other stakeholders to convene around specific outcomes.
