SE 193 Pl-117 Pl SE Parking Code Update

Dear Resident,

The City of Kent, in coordination with the Fire Marshall’s office, has evaluated parking on SE 193 Pl-117 Pl SE (East of 116 Ave SE) and found that parking restrictions are needed on one side.

Parking restrictions are being proposed on the north side of SE 193 Pl and on the west side of 117 Pl SE. Restricting parking in Kent requires a change to the City Code. We anticipate making the proposal to City Council in December.

We realize these proposed restrictions will create an additional burden on neighborhood parking, so we want to hear your feedback on this important issue.
