2026-2031 Transportation Improvement Program Update

The Kent Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the anticipated work program for capital transportation projects. Updated annually, this is a summary of proposed additions to the TIP. Projects come from the City's comprehensive plan and long-range Transportation Master Plan (TMP).

The TIP lists projects anticipated to begin preliminary engineering, right-of-way acquisition, or construction within six years. The TIP includes ongoing citywide transportation plans and programs, and provides a menu for grant pursuits by the city. The majority of TIP projects in Kent are funded through partnerships or by competitive grant awards.
