Thank you for participating in Round 1!
Thank you for taking time to give us your input on Campus Park at the Kent Downtown Library.
Campus Park Survey #1 Results:
Thank you for participating in the Campus Park survey. Your input will help us with the renovation. Below are the results of the engagement.
Campus Park is a neighborhood park in the Parks and Open Space Plan and 66.7% of those who took the survey live 1 mile or more from the park.

77.8% of participants do not visit Campus Park. 47.6% of participants said they did not know about the park and 38.1% of participants said there is nothing to do at the park.

When asked what activities participants would like to see at Campus Park the primary answer was running/walking paths, followed closely by loops trails, and benches.

When asked what activities participants would like to do the answers were walk or run, sit/relax, and experience nature.

Because many participants did not know about Campus Park, we asked how we could improve the park’s connections to the surrounding neighborhoods. The answers were 29.6% each for “Formalize the Park Entrance” and “Give the Park an Identity”.

You can see below that the people using the park are generally between 26-45 years old and those 46 years and older.

Please subscribe to the project to learn what the next steps are and when they will happen.
