Dear Resident,
The City of Kent, in coordination with Kent Police Department, has evaluated parking on S 181 St (SR 181/W Valley Hwy to 71 Ave S) and found that parking restrictions are needed on both sides.
Parking restrictions are being proposed on both sides of S 181 St. Restricting parking in Kent requires a change to the City Code. We anticipate making the proposal to City Council in December.
We realize these proposed restrictions will create an additional burden on neighborhood parking, so we want to hear your feedback on this important issue. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me at 253-856-5571, email at RBrown@KentWA.gov, or fill out the quick three-question survey below.
Sincerely, Rob Brown, P.E. Transportation Engineering Manager
